I feel a sketch is just as viable a way to capture a memory as a twelve hour drawing.
Because memories are not complete, areas are more noticeably out of focus. In the manner of artists like J.L.David or Ingres recognizability is given only to part of a figure while the rest is abstracted to an extent.
